So I had a situation where I had to make a simple illustration of these
band members. I finished them and was trying to think of some things I
could do with the background because I was not about to leave it plain.
There isn't any text that will be on it so it needed something....

I added some simple line drawings of buildings that set the area.

Hi Jen! I definately like the first. The notes create movement and intrest. I don't think they take away from the main illustration - only add to it.
