I Feel like I've been doing so much children's art that I haven't been taking enough time to practice some realistic art. Digital painting is a nice alternative when I can only do small parts at a time since I've got to be a mom too.

Hey Mark, I just used the med. Bristle oil 25 brush, if that helps, but it was done in Corel Painter not Photoshop. It created the effect I wanted, with just that brush. Which I'd have to go through several steps to achieve that in Photoshop.
